Following the well-received performance of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and the appearance of Tupac, the two rappers could potentially go on tour and bring the Tupac hologram with them.
For those who could not attend Coachella, you may still be able to catch this performance in the near future. A tour involving Dre, Snoop and hologram-Pac is already in the works.
“This is just the beginning,” said Ed Ulbrich, the chief creative officer for Digital Domain Media Group, Inc., the company responsible for bringing out Tupac’s hologram on stage. “Dre has a massive vision for this.”
“To create a completely synthetic human being is the most complicated thing that can be done,” Ulbrich said.
Dr. Dre had approached the company a year ago to find out whether it would possible for a hologram of Pac to appear on stage. The company began to work on the one we all saw at Coachella about four months ago.
This potential tour could also involve artists such as Eminem, 50 Cent and Wiz Khalifa; or just the headliners Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.
